Our next working day was completed at night during extra hours because we felt as though we were falling behind in terms on the programming of the robot and wanted to get back on track.
Mike Naclerio finished the build of Handlebar Jim today with all of his attachments and sensors to make him functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. Mike spent the rest of the hopping between Mike Gulia and Zach trying to help with programming as well as website design.
Mike Gulia finished the Wumpus World Problem section of the website. He explained the goal of The Wumpus Problem and what we had to do to get our robot to solve the puzzle and retrieve the gold we are looking for.
Zach was able to program Handlebar Jim so that he was taking his first steps today. Zach added some basic programs into Handlebar Jim to get him to do things like drive straight, make simple turns, drive in circles, and turn around. This will allow us to take some crucial steps moving forward with the programming of Handlebar Jim.
